The Barbados 3m Round Cantilever Parasol with 60L Cantilever Base - Grey can be used to create a large spot of cooling shade over your lounge set or dining table, providing you use a weighted base to keep the parasol in place. This cantilever parasol comes with a cross-section bottom which needs to be removed in order to attach the parasol to the 60L base included in order to weigh the parasol down.
 
This parasol is easily erected via a crank handle and a quick-release pin which allows you to angle your parasol to project a shadow over your chosen area and hold it in place quickly and easily.
The 180gsm polyester canopy offers plenty of sun protection as it has a UV rating of 50+.
 
Additionally, it has a fade resistance level of 5/6 which means the colour is extremely protected against fading or discolouration.
 
The parasol can be fully closed. We always recommend that the parasol remains closed when not in use and is always kept closed in extremely windy conditions.
 
This parasol comes with a 60L cantilever base which should be filled with both sand and water to offer enough weight to correctly support the cantilever parasol. When filled with sand and water this base should weigh approx 60kg in total. We recommend using kiln-dried sand and then saturating with water for an easier and cleaner fill-up process.
 
The base also offers two built-in wheels which allow you to move your cantilever freely and with ease to different locations, ensuring you are always protected by cooling shade.
The base is made from HDPE resin which is fully weather resistant and can be left outside all year round.
